Let's Get Started Then....

DAY 1

Good morning and welcome to Herb Garden And Us,

As the general header states I want to share the herbs, fruits and flowers grown in our garden.

It is the 1^st time we have had anything but grass out there so I wasn’t confident anything would grow, but everything planted has grown amazingly.

The herbs growing are those we see in supermarkets either fresh or dried such as Rosemary, Coriander, Sage, Mint etc

But we have an impressive Bay Tree, Curry Plant, Horse Radish, Lemon Balm and many more which I will talk about as time goes on.

The fruit trees include Raspberry, Blackcurrant, Redcurrant, Loganberry and more to be shared in text, photos and maybe the odd recipe or two.

I must just add that we have tried to get plants and/or seeds that are bee friendly, its lovely on a quiet sunny day watching the bees fly from flower to flower

 This is the 1^st trough we bought and as you can see it’s full of colour – OK I know it’s mainly green but when in flower some were beautiful colours

 This is the 1^st trough and looks pretty with the green leaf that also goes a silvery lilac

We have been buying these baskets as they are idea for just one plant or as in this case 3 different plants
